The FT- 8000 MF/HF Radiotelephone is a 5-inch high-brightness, high-contrast LCD for easy viewing, simple rotary knob/keypad operation, and an MF/HF radiotelephone with built-in DSC calling and a dedicated distress/safety watch receiver. Supports expansion to a remote communication station with integrated intercom.
